While at The George Washington University Law School, Deané significantly increased engagement in the New York business and finance law alumni community as she collaborated to launch the GWNY – a semester program in New York for law students. Deané has created and executed strategies to raise millions in support of GW Law’s institutional mission.

In 2018 Ms. Deané served as Interim Assistant Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations at GW Law. Deané is a seasoned professional who brought momentum to the philanthropic and alumni relations arena by building strong relationships. During the “Making History Capital Campaign for George Washington University,” she raised over $14.8M.
