Kamili Moreland received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco.
Kamili is the Chief Legal & People Officer at the American Automobile Association (AAA) of Northern California, Nevada & Utah. Having amassed more than 21 years of legal experiencei, Kamili is primarily responsible for managing litigation and compliance issues, overseeing the club’s Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, and Corporate Communications departments. As General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, she also supports and advises AAA NCNU Board of Directors and Executive Management on matters concerning corporate governance.
Before joining AAA, Kamili was a Partner at Seyfarth Shaw, LLP where she defended employers and individual employees in single and multi-plaintiff harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and contract litigation brought under Federal and California state law.
She previously served on the Boards of the Bar Association of San Francisco Foundation and the Girls’ After School Academy (GASA), an afterschool program designed to support underprivileged girls.
